Digestive Testing
Stool Testing
GI EcologiX

Highly recommended for those given a diagnosis of IBS or have recent or long standing digestive issues like acid reflux, constipation, cramping, abdominal pain or bloating and want to finally get to the root of their symptoms. This test looks for H Pylori which can be implicated with conditions like acid reflux, GERD and Gastritis.
The profile detects:

Commensal bacteria (bifido, lactobacillus......)
Pathogenic or opportunistic microbes (Klebsiella, C.Difficile)
Inflammatory markers (Calprotectin)
Pancreatic sufficiency (Elastase)
Mucosal immune antibody status (sIgA,Beta Defensin 2)
Mycology (fungal)
Parasitology
Intestinal permeability markers (LPS, Zonulin)
Short chain fatty acids (SCFA's)
H pylori (bacteria in the stomach which reduces gastric acid, increases in inflammation (gastritis, ulcers)

Method: Stool test.

Beta-Glucorinadase is a marker which checks the enzyme which binds estrogen metabolites preventing re-circulation. This is a very useful marker for those experiencing digestion issues like constipation and oestrogen dominance symptoms,

SIBO
(Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) Lactulose Breath Test

Recommended as part of a diagnosis of IBS or for those who have recent or long standing digestive issues like acid reflux, diarrhea, upper abdominal bloating, nausea, vomiting, unexplained nutrient deficiencies like low iron or ferritin or B12 and want to finally get to the root of their symptoms.

The profile detects:

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) is a disorder of excessive bacterial growth in the small intestine causing misplaced fermentation. Unlike the colon (or large bowel), which is rich with bacteria. Patients with bacterial overgrowth typically develop symptoms including nausea, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, malnutrition, weight loss and malabsorption (low iron, b12 and fat soluble vitamins like D,A,E) and bile salt deficits.
